This research aims to examine the effectiveness of grade teachers' board meetings held by class teachers. The research was designed as action research. The study group consists of 13 classroom teachers working in a private school in Çekmeköy district of Istanbul. The purposeful sampling method was chosen as the sample type. Interview and observation methods were utilized as data collection tools. In the private primary school where the research is carried out, a branch teachers' board meeting is held twice a week. The researcher named one of these groups as the basic group and the other as the monitoring and evaluation group. The basic group meeting involves teachers' planning and deciding together about how the lessons should be taught in the next week. The monitoring and evaluation group meeting is the meeting in which the results of the decisions taken in the basic group meeting are monitored and evaluated. When the findings obtained at the beginning of the research process are examined, it is seen that while teachers mostly give importance to planning in group studies, the least important thing for them is the preparation of assessment and evaluation forms. As a result of the implementation of the action plan, it can be said that the effectiveness of the grade teachers' board studies increased positively. In primary schools, it may be suggested that Grade Teachers' Board Meetings are held twice in a week or a month, one of them being the "basic group" and the other "monitoring and evaluation group." Group rooms can be allocated to teachers in schools for the Grade Teachers' Board Meetings. It may be ensured that these rooms are large, spacious and bright enough to allow teachers to conduct their studies comfortably and it may be provided that the rooms are equipped with the necessary equipment.
